If there is anyone that can assist with a computerized accounting software system recommendation for a company that needs to track two divisions separately, but is capable of producing a consolidated statement, I would appreciate some good input.

    Accounting System

    We have been using Maxwell Systems for Dispatch and Accounting since 1996. Very good products. We originally had 2 Divisions, now we have 3 and will be adding a 4th soon. Handles everything nicely. Total control on how you want to format your statements.

    Ive been looking

    Been looking around too. A lot of guys in thr trades use Quick Books Pro. Peachtree has also been recomended. Quick Books seems to be more user friendly. The Peachtree system was recomended by an accountant. You can download sample programs to play with from either site. Make sure to ask if they plan any changes. These programs usually have upgrades in the fall. Good Luck let everyone know how you make out.
