Have them split the line and add
a filter for each one!0 -
happen to us our oil trucks pump to fast and it was making air bubbles talked to the drivers and told them not to kick up into high rpm on there pto's. solved the problem0 -
have them split the lines IF both supply and return go all the way to within 3" of the bottom of the tank. If the return terminates at the top of the tank you can't use it for a supply. Is the tank in the basement or buried? This is a situation where you need to cut the flow rate. Having a single line feed will do that but if there's significant lift (more than 8 vert feet) you probably want to use a "Tiger Loop". (Do you think they'll pay me a stipend for hawking their product all over this site?)Anyway, it's always best not to filter more oil than you are actually consuming. Two line systems pump way too much oil thru the filter(s) and cause customers to dread their deliveries.0
