I have a buderus with a 311 control.I noticed when the mixed zone is calling for heat the zone it is trying to maintain 88 degres. With the weather outside at 50 degres the gauge on the return to boiler shows 120.I thought on a non condencing boiler the return temp had to be 130 min at all times?
Thanks

True...with American boilers
The Buderus boiler uses a different material for its castings and is not as susceptible to corrosion from condensation as its American cousins.
THe manufacturer has a "pump logic" on their own control that keeps the pumps off until the discharge temperature has reached 105 degrees F. At a 20 degree delta T (yeah, right, dream on...)that means they're anticipating a return temp of around 85 degrees F, which is their low end.
There IS a difference in the metalurgy used,
