I have a customer that:
1: wants this furnace installed to replace existing Ducane.

2: was quoted a price by rep of over $4000.00 to buy it.

Does anyone know about this furnace?

I'm calling the rep tomorrow to get my price, but has anyone installed this furnace?

    I'll second that

We just installed another Thermopride gas this past week. It's the only high efficinecy I know of that has a stainless Primary as well as secondary HX. Simple layout, basic parts, nitride ignitor, WR intelligent ignition control board. What more could you ask.

I have personally tested this furnace at the factory in Cleveland and it is excellant. The price you were quoted is way off. It is one of the best oil furnaces made in the last 15 years.

I had a feeling that the price was either a list price or maybe the rep was quoting it installed.

    Thanx for the input guys.

Do you do alot of oil? if so this looks like a cleaning nightmare. betchya it is a four hour service to do it right. Some jobs are not worth getting. Please go to oiltechtalk.com and talk to firedragon about this so you know the deal

    Cleaning

How about less than an hour to clean, and cleaner than a conventional oil furnace. Firedragon has not seen this model. I have seen it and tested it. But then cleaning is only required if one does not know proper set up.
