Finding End Sections for Obsolete Burnham Slenderized

Dear Wet Heads

I am a scorched air mechanic in Lancaster PA.

Friend of mine put a deposit on a used home "AS IS" as part of a foreclosure.

He drug me out there the other night to inspect the home after he put down the deposit.

I found 4 broken radiators all blown out on the end section ..they are mostly burnham 5 tube 23 high...checking out B'hams web site these puppies are now obsolete.

Do any of you have any idea where I can buy just end sections for the above...or do I just redo the house in copper fin baseboard...of course after doing a Manual J

Thanks for any and all info

    Maybe

there are enough good end sections to put a couple rads back together. I'd pressure-test the ones that still look good, there may be leaks you can't easily see.

I'm not sure if there are salvage companies in Lancaster where you can get good used rads, but there is a place in York called Architectural Warehouse that usually has them. If you strike out there, e-mail me- I'm in Baltimore and have a bunch of different ones.
