Finished this on thursday it was a bit of a upgrade from what they had changed it all in 4 days with a bad back to boot had plenty of help from the guys hauling everythink in ,the boiler room was like a sauna .This unit serves a basement that serves as a clay modeling studio, wood working shop and a curtain and drape4 fabracation studio the ho really dug it.I removed the oil fired hot water heater and replaced a lift pump which was tucked behind the hot water heater a bear to service .This update had been a long time coming hopefully this summer they will address there oil tank and maybe replace there main unit or just update the burner at the very least and remove a ancient brass domestic storage tank which works off a old a shot tankless coil and re circ system that needs some work.It was a great job and i would like to straighten out the rest of the boiler room but money talks thanks for checkin it out peace

    I took A ration.....

Of crap from the posters for painting a board BLUE (not that there's anything wrong with that....)after installing a different color "scheemed" boiler.

I've since got a matching colour(mind you, EUROPEAN spelling)to match the "Orange" and gray colored maker.
I'm not sure if I've got pictures of that one to show yet. Thanks Heatboy! You made me do things just"a bit differently" and as Scott said....Keep raising the bar.
    I like that! Chris

    Clammy ....

Nice work. I too like the dielectric unions (nice touch). How are you purging the zones? It looks like the pumps are on the supply with the purge tee isolation flanges as well as the makeup H2O. I'm a little confused, is there something I'm not seeing?.......Robert O'Connor/NJ

    purge tee

There,s one main purge tee before the spriovent i used them on the outlet of the pumps to make it easier to drain indivial zones to do re pipe work on them if need be ,this was the first job where i used the webstone iso valves and for the 1.50 more i got the purge valves also.I would have liked to put a plate exchanger for the small radiant loop but the bosses and the ho would not go for it they stated that that was the way it was piped before so i let it stay you can't change there minds i'll hopefully correct it when we upgrade the rest of the domestic hot water system and update the larger boiler maybe durning the summer thanks for checkin it out peace
