It seem your gas heater is going off on safety . You are resetting the control by disrupting power to the unit. You need to call in your local service company...

I have a gas heater in a house I own that is having problems. It works fine for a while, but if it ever kicks off and stays off for a long period of time, it won't kick back on. If I go to the circuit breaker and power it completely off for a few seconds, then back on, it will start up perfectly. It seems like we don't have that problem if it is turning itself on and off consistantly, but for example, if it is a warm day and it doesn't have to run all day, it might not kick on in the evening when it needs to.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!0 -
Kelly, it would
be best if you got hold of your heating contractor to look at it.
However if we could have some more information (gas heater does not tell us what we need to know) Make, Model, type of systems and some control numbers we can at least give you some insight too what may be wrong. Look forward to helping you.0
