you may still be able to find parts. ABC/Sunray became a part of Enerjet, and I've heard some parts are still available.
Your best bet is to do what I did: Go to Oil Tech Talk at www.oiltechtalk.com and click the Discuss tab. Post on their discussion board (much like this one) about what model burner you have and what part you need. I did some time ago and found someone who had the part I needed.
The Oil Tech Talk site also has setup info for many older burners on its Just for Teks page. You may be able to find your burner there. And if you happen to have something in your files they could use, by all means scan and e-mail it to Alan Mercurio, who runs the site.
If I'm working on a packaged boiler where the burner and the boiler were a matched set, I always try to fix the existing burner if it's a flame-retention type. If it's not a flame-retention burner, then it makes sense to upgrade.
