I'll be scanning more gems each day. Check back often. And if you have something you'd like to add, just send it my way and I'll put it on the shelves.

I think this is going to be a great resource. The more we share, the better we get.

And thanks for buying the bricks, lads. This is what we did with the money you've sent so far. We'll have the new On the Job Product/System Review area up soon. More to come.

Thanks.

wow, reading that stuff on slave ships

is enough to make a person despise their own heritage..gave me the heebygeebies..probably should be required reading..those who forget history are destined to relive it. yikes..

    When I hold that book

I constantly think that someone once used this very same book to do that design. Or perhaps many designs.

And then I put it back on the shelf, and I glance at it again and again. And I do this every day, Gerry.

I know just what you mean. I'm glad I can share this stuff with you all.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I can't find it either, Joe. I'm beginning to think that that "navigation bar" is some gin joint next to the lighthouse! Maybe Dan will take pity on us and give us directions.

    Dan, have pity on me

    Dan,

I'm stuck on acrobat 5.05 on my normal machine. They may or may not ever release acrobat 6 for linux. I do have a windoze machine as well, but it would be really nice to have some of the material available for the poor sods like me.

    thanks,
    jerry

If you're not seeing The Library

on the navigation you need to reboot your PC. It's storing the old page. Thanks.

    Works for me in Linux

The ones I viewed work for me in Linux Acrobat 4, but the colors are off on my wireless laptop with 1024x768 16-bit color (only 2.5 MB video RAM), making the ancient ones difficult to view.

On my main pc Linux Acrobat 5.0.8 complains that the file may contain something newer than it, but if I ignore that, everything looks fine in proper colors (24-bit color?), even the ancient ones.

I did do a shift-reload to see "The Library" on the nav bar, of Mozilla (link was there, but invisible before that).

    I'll see

if I can scan the future stuff as A-5 and better. It just takes more space and may load slower. Thanks.
