My cousin just got in from Apple Valley, MN

    His name....cousin Cha-Ching!!

Nice stuff. I did notice in the new catalogs that the battery expander now has new heads proprietary just to the battery expander. In other words, they are recommending that you not use the manual expander head with the battery tool. Haven't heard the reason yet.

You will get alot of use with the new tools.

    Wayne,

Mister fire has got it right....
The battery Expander will sure save my shoulder....
after a day pumping the hand expander, I can't even get my cup of coffee in the microwave.....
And this winter I had some 1" do to.... that's really tough when it's cold.... and yes the heads are the new "H" heads that are for the batt. expander. I hope that it will be easier to keep the ring from slipping back with them.

The other tool is the battery Multipress tool. I think that I like the fitting for the multicore better than the propress fitting. It truly seals with the crimp and doesn't depend on the o-rings to help with the seal. That concerns me about the propress. I think that the propress heads will work with the multipress tool. I may get one just to check it out, and maybe to use in certain situations.

My hope is that Wirsbo will bring over the large dia. multicore soon and I can use the tool and multicore for the whole boiler room instead of copper. Till then it will make a lot of the smaller projects a whole lot easier.

i wonder if that tool works with the zurn coupling,

they claim and swear up and down that it will never come apart at the coupling, so you dont have to start with a new full roll of pex every time, you simply splice and continue, it's perfect for repairs too, and meets all the standards, it's CV is equal to 6ft of pipe, which is not a whole lot in the radiant world

    If I saw them

at Wirsbo mini camp it didn't register. That happens a lot to me. The hard drive in my head is full and doesn't accepts new information very quickly, and has to purge other information to make room for new. I've had a busy Winter as I'm sure you have. Good to see you on the Wall. Are you coming down to Wetsock 4? It's not that far of a drive for you. You orda come. WW

    expander

I have the older style grn expander. And it is a joy to work with especially in those tight places. The only concern that I have with the green one is on 1 in. it tends to groan a little. I thunk its a very fine line too overlubing the expander head at one inch. NEW TOYS !! GOTTA LOVE IT
