May of '01.... great people, great info., great plant tour, mexican one night, great ribs another night at a little outta the way joint. The Co. setup the flights and accomadations, but they were great also. Didn't have no time to see the town...I was too busy trying to digest what I had taken in during the day.

HOWEVER>>>>>>>

there were some stories of certan individuals visiting places of ill repute.......

Things really are bigger in Texas....well at least the men are.....I'm fairly big, but....some of those guys made me feel quite small......ain't gonna catch me tryin' for none of their little thangs......

has anyone been down to the trane plant in tyler texas. we are going april 2-7. looking for some info on the town,hotels,etc.

Jim,

I went about 2 years ago! It was with American Standard though. Like it matters (apples for apples there). From what I remember they set everything up for me. Tyler is a small little town with not much going on.

One time was a day trip, locals shocked that a 727 landed at the Tyler airport. Next time stayed there. Supplier put us up in a Residence Inn. Enjoy the factory, it is neat!
