Heating Season is Over

at least here on the west coast. It's been in the 80's for a couple of weeks now, business has settled down; no more night and weekend emergency work; time to snuggle in for the summer.

I've promised many customers to return for boiler change outs for all the ones that are limping along on adrenaline. I'll sell a Vitodens wherever I can, and a Munchkin whenever I can't; both are crowd pleasers.

The beauty of suffering through a cold snowy winter is the resulting awesome spring and summer that Michiganders enjoy. We take the good with the bad (like right now: 3-5 inches of snow with wind chills in the single digits).

West of Denver, a place called Conifer, last April. The HO didn't realize collapse was imminent. He was in the barn not more than 10 minutes before it collapsed. He works with my wife. It's dry as a bone up there now.
