I assume these are
Honeywell V8043E Zone Valves???? If so the wiring is as follows:
One yellow goes to the transformer
The other ties into one leg of the thermostat
The other thermostat wire goes to the transformer
The reds tie into the "T" "T" or "T" and "TV" depending on what relay you have.
If this is not the zone valve give us some numbers and make of ZV's so we can help you.0 -
i have a diag that might help
just finishing up a system document, that just happens to use 8043's
the yellow wires are the zone valve motor, tied to 24v common one side, and driven by the white wire from the thermostat, which is switched 24v supply "red"
the red wires, are the load switch, and again are usually all tied together on one side to the supply and feed together to the load on the other side0 -
Zone valves?
These sound like Wirsbo telestats. If so, one yellow goes through the thermostat to the "R" side of the transformer. The other yellow goes to the "C" side of the transformer. The reds parallel with the any other telestats' reds and end up at the TT terminals on the boiler.
If you use something like a Wirsbo zone control module the wiring is greatly simplified; practically plug-and-play.
