Burnham Revolution problem

Recently had Burnham Revolution RV6 (164000 BTU)
Gas boiler installed in home (2/2004), which has
been working wonderfully, until woke up to no heat this AM.
The thermostat calls for heat, the blower starts, and a
constant "clicking" begins, but no firing of the boiler.
Called heating contractors office, but no 24hr. emergency
service. I have installers home phone, is this a quick
fix I can handle, or do I bother installer at home early
Sunday AM.?
Thank you for your help.

    Bother the installer

He probably won't have the parts to fix it, but I'll bet he has the phone number of someone that does.

Hope it works out for you.

  • Have the contractor

contact me with his phone number at the e-mail address below today (Sunday) and I should be able to walk him through the problem, possibly without repair parts. Hope this helps.

    Hey Glen

I was down on a friend of mines job the other day they have 2 revolutions installed, piped as per Burnham Rep. When using just one boiler system will heat, 2nd boiler brought on line system will not heat. I think for a 2 boiler system its piped wrong, I suggested a P/S loop with pumps from the boilers to the loops. Friend wants to wait on Rep which is wise as he designed system. Can we call ya if we get in a pickle down here? Thanks J. Lockard
  • Here is a drawing

right out of the Installation Manual depicting the more desirable way to pipe RV's in Modular fashion. There is also a Reverse-Return drawing utilizing the 1-1/4" bypass piping within the boiler. This one is the preferable method though.

You are more than welcome to contact me regarding this one Jim. I will be in NJ until Wednesday night but will be checking in while I travel. Hope this helps.
