Onsite Service Billing

I want to start billing onsite for HVAC service work. Is there a user friendly way to do this. I could do it the old way...notebook and carbon paper but, I'm hoping for a "Quickbooks" type program that is PDA based...and then a printer for invoices. This way I won't have to learn to write legibly, remember prices, and I'll have a customer/equipment database.

i dunno:)
I always heard that the time you spend erasing things on the bill was directly porportional to how much the customer was assuming they'd have to Pay:)))0 -
Looked into it
The problem I have is that printers never work that good in the extreme environmental conditions of a service truck. I do have cust. info, along with my standardised prices in my PDA, but for now still use carbon copy forms, call me old-fashioned...

I have been using Aereon Solutions system. It ties in with quickbooks and has a durable printer you can keep in your truck. Also can be used to dispatch and see where your techs are. Also alows you to see the service history of your calls
