P / S food for thought?

A week or two ago I had read a post about the Weil Ultra! A guy had asked about the P / S piping styles. Someone had stated that all your secondary points off of the main treat your main (the primary) as the systems expansion tank. That being said, in order to pump away all of your secondarys should be down stream of the primary pump?
I have never piped like that but is that correct. In the past I have made a primary loop pumping away from the expansion tank & boiler secondary loop with all of my other secondary pipes up stream.

It doesn't matter...
if your secondary branches are before or after the expansion tank so long as you pump away from that point. The primary loop is the PONPC reference point.
