Heard this today

At an American Standard dealer meeting. Straight from the regional sales manager. They are getting back in the boiler business. Probably going to outsource production or private label an existing boiler at first. I encouraged him to do it right and come with the whole package, (controls, radiation, pex, fittings, etc.) when they do it.

He also said as a company one of their goals is to get back to what they were historically involved with.

Boy, I sure hope they make them like they used to

I have never come across a cracked American Standard boiler. They were well built and well designed. I still have a 1962 atmospheric in my home and only the burner look like they are beginning to go. Still runs quiet and my bills are lower than almost anyone around.

I had also heard the news. If they make or use a boiler anything like there air-handlers / A/C or furnaces I'll definetly use them.
