Shards of glass U tube case

..but I hate that crappy case just as much as you. Of course I only use it for myself and when I read instructions they're supposed to be used on each and every forced air installation aren't they?
A bit ashamed to admit it, but I learned to sew in grammar school when I was General Washington in the Bicentennial pageant and mom said she didn't have time to make a full and authentic costume--so I made it. Knee trousers, undershirt, "fluffy" shirt, vest, coat, 100+ buttons/holes and all. Made nearly every shirt I wore during Junior High (behind TIGHTLY closed drapes lest my friends see) until guys found out and made fun of me. At least the girls liked my style and showed their appreciation in all sorts of ways...
Mom died recently and I asked for her good sewing machine but I haven't had a chance to use it--until now.
THANKS FOR THE IDEA HOTROD!!! You're certainly full of them!
I presume there are sewn-in pockets for hookup tubes, fittings, fluid, etc. that we can't see.
p.s. If anyone wants to see a bizarre return design for an extremely tight horizontal installation where the air flow actually increases when the filter is installed (AS intended), let me know. That was the first time I'd used a manometer (included instructions only of course) and I had to verify proper use with my friendly reefer/boiler man.

Had enough
of this cheesey plastic case that Dwyer sends their manometers in! They tear easily, get stiff a plexiglass when cold, bad fasteners, etc.
A local tent and awning built a nice case for an unbelievable $26! Choice of colors, velcro closure, nicely built. Can't believe I put up with that old one for so long
hot rod
