whats the lates dates people are seeing the burnham crack?

    Greg,

    I saw one this week in a V7 oil FHW that was about 7-8 years old. What type of boiler are you referring to,
    (Oil, Gas, Steam, HW, etc.?

    We think we have most of the V7s replaced. Only had a few this season. Some V9s and 2 V11s. Pretty much Burnham has it under control as far as I know. They have been extremely good about the warranty issues and the quickness of the sections or blocks. They have tried pretty hard to make it right and I think they deserve some notice for that.

    I found a 10 year-old cracked this week. Mostly in the 5-7 year region. This one will be my fourth this season.

    I had a customer call me last night about water leaking out of the boiler. When I got there it was a V-74. I heard from my boss today that this month was the last month that Burnham will honor the warranty for this particular one.
