It was great to see old friends and make new ones. Cindy did an excellent job Thank you again.
And as far as John Barba goes it wouldn’t be the same without ya! By the way can’t wait to see the pictures that John will be posting.

I don’t know if I agree with Joe Pauley (GOD) I do consider people at Wirsbo as part of the family because that’s the way we get treated.

Again Thank You all at Wirsbo!

    Next HCT

Hey John what do you thing about the next HCT Convention being somewhere out here on the East Coast next year. I know it was on the questionnaire but after listening to Larry I was too hyped up to go and try my new meat hook out. We’ll have to put a bug in Cindy’s ear “Foxwoods” or even Old Opery Land even Disney would be great.

It was nice meeting you again and your wife.

East Coast, Schmeast Coast, next time

we should have in Alaska. Instead of wearing out your arm pulling slot machines after the seminars like I did this year, we could wear out our arms pulling in a few salmon!
Great time and major "Kudos" to all at Wirsbo. Plus, I've been hankering to tell my "Granny" story for a long time! Thanks, Mr. Barba, for the opportunity!
    Best regards,

    Alaska?

    Hey Rocky!
I think you forgot to remind us your design temp is -47F this time of year. How about the Keys for the next convention?
It was great meeting everyone at the HCT convention, I still am amazed at the concept of installing a radiant system controlled entirely by outdoor reset, I have multiple areas in my home for floor conditioning and can't wait to try it out!!

One thing learned was when your hungry just tell Joe W and he will make things happen! I think both of us can attest to that. It was nice to meet Bob D also. I was kind of sacred to have him on the bus with us after what he did to John B. all kidding aside Bob your alright in my book. I think we should all stay in touch and maybe find a place to get together for a weekend with the wife’s this summer. It was nice meeting Joe W, I had meet Victor before at Wetstock I. Talking to Joe was just like talking to my father. I feel I also have to thank my Rep’s David Urell and Dave Marcotte for their support you guy’s are great! Oh I forgot about Urell’s own harmonica playing guy Gary! That took guts! Plus when your boss tells you your gone a do it or else! He did not make a fool out of him self.
I also need to thank our supplier, The Portland Group, they have made the commitment to provide us with the materials we need when we need them. If you are in New England and use Wirsbo and don’t use The Portland Group check them out, our outside sales person is Luis Machado his cell is 1-508-326-4808.

    HCT

I think one of the best aspects of this event is having the opertunity to meet so many great people.Everyone is more than happy to share their knowlage with others. The round tables were a perfect addition to the program this year.I really enjoyed meeting you and your dad.

Move it to the East coast, hmmmm?Sure would save on the jet lag,at least for us.Don't forget the RPA will be in Boston this fall.Another great chance to gather with friends again.

    HCT 2006 in Alaska

So what if it is -45 outside this time of year? You've heard of the X-Games undoubtably, Extreme Makeovers, Extreme this and Extreme that. What better place to encounter Extreme radiant than right here? Whoo-hoo!!

    Fishing poles

Don't even need to bring them, I've got plenty. Salmon poles, halibut poles, trout. Will have to ask my wife if I'm allowed to use her halibut pole. Three years ago I won a halibut trip down to Valdez from my local supplier, Alaska Pipe and Supply. Took my wife along as she usually brings me good luck. Well, long story short, she won the damn Valdez halibut derby. $10,000. 302 pound halibut. It was a monster! What did I catch? A cold.

    John,
The thanks go to you and to all of the others that took time out of their busy lives to be with us for a few days. All of the planning and arranging, great speakers and great activities are nothing without great people to share them with. THANK YOU all for attending!!

    Cold

It ain't cold in Alaska. It's . . . Comfortable. The best report I ever heard on TV was back in 1988 or 89. We (Alaska) had a cold snap, -40 here in Anchorage and -80 in Fairbanks. CNN did a report live from Fairbanks. The reporter (I think it was a reporter, he was covered with 2 or 3 fur lined Parkas) was interviewing a local (Fairbanksian) on the Street with a time and temp sign in the background showing -80. He asked the guy "What's it like living here and its 80 below". The Fairbanksian rubbed his chin and after just a few seconds of thought said, "Well, its kinda like 40 below, only colder". The reporter responded "back to the studio in Atlanta"

Hey Rocky, that wasnt you was it?

    Pat, it wasn't me because

I was in Australia during that time. This is no joke. I was on the Gold Coast of Australia, I came in off the beach. Been ogling babes and swilling brew all day, whilst getting sun burned. Come in from the beach, turned on the T.V. and the news was on. "Dateline, Fairbanks, Alaska, USA." I thought, "Uh,oh, what have we done to make the national news in Australia!"

-70 something below. I just fell on the floor laughing my arse off. I immediately called EVERYONE I knew in Fairbanks! "Hi, whatcha doin'? Enjoying the weather? Glad you didn't come to Australia with me now?" HA!! Convinced two of my buddies to catch the very next flight out of Fairbanks and meet me in Cairns, Australia. Coldest actual temperature I've been in without windchill was -74. The really bad part about that is the weather systems that usually produce those types of cold snaps are very powerful and not prone to moving very quickly, as you well know. Once it comes in, it squats on you like a 500 pound gorilla and just stays and stays and stays. About 2 weeks into one of those and I am starting to wish I was back in Australia! Does make for some interesting heating though!

    warm regards from chilly Fairbanks,

    Rocky

Allow me to echo Tim’s sentiments. It’s a privilege and a pleasure to work with all of you, and such fun to have so many good customers that are also good friends. On behalf of all of the Wirsbo crew, I thank you guys for taking the time to be with us last week.

We’ll keep you posted on plans for 2006!

Thank You Tim and Cindy! One thing needs to be remembered you can have a great product but if you don't have good people or company behind it, it is worthless. Wirsbo definitely has the people behind it!
