Ms. Faraone -

I've no answer - I'm a homeowner, not an expert - but you need to repost your question in the other section of the Wall. This section isn't for heating help.

Peace.

    Hydronic Heating Problem

Problem regarding hydronic heating system. In my home I have a 4 zone system. 1 zone feeds the basement, 2 zones feed the first floor and 1 zone feeds the second floor and each zone has a separate thermstat.

The problem I am having is with the 2nd floor zone, the thermstat turns on the circulating pump but no heat is being delivered to the convectors. Also the gas boiler does not turn on when you raise the thermstat . My utility company bleed this zone to release any possible air. This was done with a garden hose connected to the drain valve for this zone. During the bleeding process heat was delivered to the convectors on the 2nd floor but once bleeding process was completed and zone water cool down the problem was still there no heat is being supplied to the 2nd floor.

If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you. Your web page was very interesting to read regarding heating systems.

    no heat zone

if the pipes got hot while being bled it is not an air problem but a control &/or cicrculation problem. I'd have a tech check your system and find the answer. If your current service company is not able find a new service provider. If your in NE PA email me, or check the find a professional link above.
