CT Flat Rate Pricing

Is there anybody out there anymore that don't rip people off with this flat-rate pricing BS!
Quick story; Just had a friend quoted $400.00 to replace two 3/4" bearings worth $10.50 each. Her son and I replaced them in 1/2 hour (pull out blower unit). That's $800.00 per hour!!!!
If this continues HD and others can expect to do very well thank you! First time I've been ashamed of my trade, FACT!
BTW, this was in Central CT
