Burner choice for Buderus G115-34

I'm having a Buderus G115-34 installed and have been given a choice of burners, either Riello 40-F5 or a Beckett AFG. The boiler will be vented through a chimney with a 5" stainless steel liner as specified by Buderus.

Any preferences and/or opinions about 1) reliability, 2) performance. The contractor I'm using is equally capable of servicing both these burners.

    burner choice

We have installed several with carlin burners and have had numerous problems. By far reillo seems to be the best match. Make sure flue temp is min. 350

    Love

the Riello F series. We've used F-3's through F-10's on Buderi and Viessmann and they just flat out work. We also specify them on all the Thermopride air scorchers that we install. We just dialed in one of those last Thursday, an F3 on a 90,000 btu unit. Zero smoke, not a trace, 13.7% CO2, 6ppm CO, 86.6% efficiency on the Testo. Nice. Real nice!!

is Riello. We purchased a Riello repair kit several years ago........we have NEVER taken a part out of it.

When my customers sleep better, I do too.

I use either the Carlin or thr Riello....

I have a f3 on my 115-21. It is a pretty loud burner... that riello roar, but do perform well. I am considering going to the Carlin later. I have used many carlin EZ w/ one minor issue. One major thing to look at and consider is who will be servicing it. What do they know best...kpc

    Another Reillo fan here....

when it comes to the Buderus. My opinion is they are quieter than msot other burners, and if want it real quiet get the BF model, w/ direct combustion air. You can get them without the post purge control, if you don't need it. They are VERY quiet.
