Gas leak

and they kept smelling gas. They called the gas compnay who repaired a leak underground.

Still had the smell.

We got on the job and tested with our sniffer and found a rotten piece of pipe going thru the sill from the meter into the house.

Guess the Gas co. missed this. Yikes !

    Waste not, want not

Hey Scott! It's only bad on ONE end. Flip it around and use the other end for a while.

Now all you have to do is find out why that happened. Would hate to have the next time it fails cause any injuries.

    like a tire

That's only flat on the bottom. Good find, in my area it must be like yours not hard to "one up" the gas co.

    Rotten pipe

Scott, Thank God you took the time to find that leak. We could have been reading about that family in the papers.
    Good work.

    That was installed

Thru a tight hole in the wooden sill.

Moisture held tight against the steel did that puppy in.
