Why would someone have to turn back the adjustment screw on the gas valve to get one of these to fire after 12 months of flawless operation and now this.

It would seem that something else has changed to neccesitate the change in the gas valve. Is there any chance that the condensate is backing up, or that the exhaust is becoming blocked? What were the CO settings when the unit was installed, and how do they compare to operation today? Having this information can almost always point you in the right direction.0
