Pinnacle Rumble

I have a Peerless Pinnacle that was installed a few months ago and the customer is complaining of a rumbling sound. When he hears it, he goes downstairs to listen to the boiler but it is gone. Has anyone had this problem?

How many feet are you venting?

Also are you venting with a concentric?

I know where Justin is going!

He must have seen the same thing as I did 1 night.

If you hear a severe rumbling, and are using the concentric vent kit, check the outlet connection. The Munchie runs great on air, but will start to choke on its own refuse. The connection on the outlet may be loose and letting enough exhaust back into the inlet to make this happen.

If your not using the vent kit, I would be looking to see that the intake and outlet are far enough apart. Ask the owner to see if the wind is blowing hard, or in a certain direction when this occurs. Chris

    Fog horning...

is what I call it. Needs more fuel on the low end is all. needs a qualified technician to adjust. (Not HO friendly, no user friendly parts inside:-)
