to time the run time on two different zones using 1 boiler.A landlord is looking for a cheap way to split the bill up w/o going to a seperate boiler...any thoughts of a product that will do this well...tia...kpc

Several manufacturer have minute/hour timers that you can hook up to the circulators to measure run time. They can be mounted remotely and in a locked enclosure, if necessary.
We do this all the time for landlord who split heating bills. Check Graingers or a like supplier. Grainger part #6X136 or 6X137 for example.

Ken, that paricular one is made by Cramer. Go to graingers web site at www.grainger.com and look it up. Use the part number in my previous post. They used to have a different model that we use a lot, but couldn't find it....simple boxed meter that you could stick on the boiler with two sided tape and wire right into the circ wiring.
