i have a hotwaqter boiler ,it is 150000,btu it has not been used much in the last 5 years ,but now when i fire it up the burners will roar and when i check it i find that some of the burners are burning the gas on the inside of the burners instead of going through them then burning ,,anyone have any ideas

have a tech stop in...
what you are saying is that the unit is "firing through the tube". If it has been five year's since in was last inspected I would have a certified gas check stop in and inspect the unit and clean it up..small price for many more year's service..
