munchkin gas leak

We have installed a new controller 925, along with this we replaced he blower motor. There is a cork gasket between the blower and the gas valve. The new controller uses variable speed for the blower. We suspect at low speeds because of the lack of vacum the gas is leaking around the joint. The original blower always ran at full speed (old controller didn't support variable speed)

I just came from one we installed awhile ago. Cust. claims he could smell gas intermittently. Two guys were there before me. I checked everything twice. Then I noticed that the pressure switch hose was off...no more gas leak...0 -
