hydronic and fhw basebord

I am putting in a system and wondered if I could put fhw baseboard in bottom floor and hydronic on top of floor on second floor- high volume ceilings on second floor - first floor 8 ft ceiling. Thanks

Could you define...
hydronic...fhw baseboard is a form of hydronics...you can pretty much do whatever as far as zoning...do the heat loss for eash room/floor and you should be fine...kpc

Sure, you can mix and match hydronic delivery types. Baseboard, in slab, sandwich, engineered board, ceiling systems, staple up, etc.
One concern would be the water temperature requirements for the type of delivery method. For example, depending on the heat load of each of the zones, to have a 110 deg requirement for the tube in slab, and 180 deg for the baseboard. Decide what's the best for your lifestyle, most efficient and most economical.
