Most guys buy the Mastercraft

Sootmaster (hate that name), but Oreck just went into this business, but it's twice the price of MasterCraft and I'm not sure it's worth that. I guess you would have to check the warranties.

If you buy the Sootmaster rip off the name tags, it's terrible for Customer Relations. Besides, in this day of age they should be getting scare and referred to as decarbonization units, not vacuums.

I Think The Name \"SUCKS\"too.....

But they happen to make the best unit I've found...so far.

If you have access to a local Sid Harvey',they market the same vacuum with THEIR name on the canister. Looks a lot better that the Sootmaster name. JMHO. Chris

We have

used the Sid Harvey models extensively and find them to be the ideal vacuum. Just don't abuse the bag change timing.
