NJ Small Commercial HW boiler...LWCO question

Hello all,
We are getting ready to install two Peerless WV-05 boilers in a small commercial application. In NJ all hot water boilers require a lwco. I was wondering if anyone knows if a commercial job requires two. We are required to install two limits...one manual reset. Any help would be appreciated.

The stuff I've done..............
there, Paul, has only had one LWCO in the main above both boilers. State inspectors gave their blessing. It's in a church/school and gets looked at annually.
Take that for what it's worth ;-)

You are only required to use (1) on a water boiler. 2000 Int.Mech.code; SECTION 1007 BOILER LOW-WATER CUTOFF 1007.1 General. All steam and hot water boilers shall be protected with a low-water cutoff control. 1007.2 Operation. The low-water cutoff shall automatically stop the combustion operation of the appliance when the water level drops below the lowest safe water level as established by the MANUFACTURER. ..... I put in large boilers. And water boilers, even big ones, only have one tapping for it. I didn't say steam, I said water. You may put two or MORE, it doesn't matter according to code. The manufacturers install spec on a Weil-McLain 94 water boiler (big) says you only need one if the radiation is below the boiler.. some industrial risk insurers may require more. What town in NJ is it in???0 -
thanks for the input
the town is Bradley Beach
