are there any alarm systems available to alert home owner of a leaky hot water heater.

    Do you want one to tie into an existing alarm system that would alert a central station or do you want a stan-alone unit? The problem with the stand-alone unit is that it's only good if there is someone there to hear it!

    Don't bother sounding an alarm

    Don't bother sounding an alarm, shut the water off to the tank and stop it from flooding your house! If it happens to be a gas fired water heater shut the gas off too.

    Monitors water line for extended flow and shuts it off based on your setting. Has occupied and unoccupied settings.
