i recently used the slantfin heatlose program to do a heatloss on a triple decker in east boston that has no insulation in walls when the program plotted how much baseboard was needed for each room the no 80 baseboard was the best choice due to amount of availiable wall space but now im confused because no 80 has six differant styles ok fin units anyone know which style the program picks automatically??? cunfused in boston

If you open the program again you will see the index has several choices. From your post I am assuming you have already done this. But click on "Product Literature".If you are dealing with residential than open the Model 80 BB.You see the different sized elements? If you are using 180* water then follow to that column.Do the math.Example if room A has a heat loss of 9000 BTU's and the program tells you to install 12' of model 80.........then you will be installing the H1 element. If you are still confused the Slant Fin techs can help you on the phone tomorrow.

    Good luck,
