There is a new tool on the market. A battery operated cordless tubing cutter. Check it out at www.pipecat.com. Has anyone used these yet?0 -
SOB
I was just thinking about somthing like that about 2 mos. ago. Well, there goes another million.0 -
they
work really well, but it doesn't cut, or reem 1" pipe, it is only for 1/2 and 3/4 pipe.
it is very handy if you do a lot of smaller piping.

mine is
great, although seemingly lonely, so thinking of getting it a brother
Had it for 18 mos. what a time saver. Heard the price is coming down too.0 -
haven't
tried it, but it does have a reamer for the pipe ends.
although when I used the pipe cat at the trade show, you didn't need to reem the pipe ends. it cut the pipe without leaving a ridge on the inside of the CU pipe.
