Smart controls

Residential? Commercial? Instituational?

Type(s) of heat emission devices (i.e. baseboard, iron rad, steel rad, radiant panel)?

How failsafe? Remember--computers go "down" and you probably don't want the heating system to come crashing down with it...

Target temps? Do you mean supply temps to various devices?

    Smart controls

Does anyone know of boiler/HVAC controls that can communicate with home automation systems? I want controls that will handle the standard boiler/outdoor reset operations. But, I want to supply target temps based on the temperature and humidity determined by a central computer system. Any recommendations appreciated.

    Caleffi..........

    Melton,

Caleffi makes a great control system for hydronics, called iRadiant. You can program changes on your computer and upload the new info from a remote location. Are you near Norwalk Connecticut? If you are, you can contact us, we could design and install a system to meet your needs.
