What a feeling to do a job that is new to me and have the customer say they've never been so comfortable in the 20 yrs they lived there! Just when things were becoming too much alike, an opportunity to learn and grow presents itself.

Not bad for a "steam-rookie", if I do say so myself.

    looks like that reducing coupling couda,shuda been eccentric??? if it bangs you will know for certain

    Been in a week and quiet as a mouse. The header is pitched an inch in 30 inches so it shouldn't pocket there.

    Thanks for taking the time to critique my work and respond. It's faster to learn from others' experiences than to make all the common mistakes myself.
