How much greater heat output for a given temperature would you get, if you painted fin type aluminum/copper convectors elm leaf green ground to 2 micron thickness, and is it worth doing?

The studies I've read...
would indicate that maple leaf green is much more effective than elm leaf green. However, some of the studies are suspect because it appears that the paint was applied inside out.0 -

I don't know, hopeing ME could shed some light on this as he posted on Jan 27,2002 flat green or black works great,but did not indicate enamel or laytex. I could assume but had better not.0 -

They work better because they fall off in the winter in the North Country.

The information
came from George Lof, an instructor from LONG ago. It had to do with solar panel absorptivity, the inverse of emmissivity. It affected the absorptivity of a flat plate solar panel by 2/10 of 1 percent.
Hardly worth the trouble, just kind of interesting to note...
