good evening, i was looking over some blue prints today on a 1500 sq ft 2 floor house built on piliars on the water. home owner was looking in to a radiant heating system and central cooling system. VERY limited on space. the designer of the prints never put in a mechanical room. my question is, what would be the smallest gas system that would handle a radiant sytem (multiple zone) and domestic hot water.

    thanks for the input

Big heat in a small box!

    Jim,

Maybe you should check out the manufacturer’s listings on this web sight. They are located directly to the left of your first thread. There are many small boilers listed there; for instence, Heat Transfer Products, Inc. which make the Munchkin! (Great little product which has many upgradeable characteristics like the Vision card). Peerless Heater Company which makes the Pinnacle which is also a great little boiler. (I am actually installing 3 of them next week in an apartment building) And there is also Viessmann which makes the Vitoden which is an outstanding boiler. There are also many other (little) boilers other there.

Yes....The Vitodens Veissmann is the perfect match

and can't be beat for how quiet, or efficiency.
Various sizes to chose from, that easily cover the range you are looking at.
