This last baseboard on the return loop just refuses to allow water flow. After purging over a gallon of water( and very little air) the side opposite the air vent remains cold. Any ideas on how to remove the trapped air??

Purging 1 gallon of water isnothing , purge several gallons , 10 at least and be sure of no air at that point if ther is no air at least it is not an problem then iot falls back on circ0 -
At what pressure is the boiler operating, how high above the boiler is this baseboard you are having problems with? Are you trying to purge with the circulator running? If so shut it off and purge.0
