Vitodens question?

installed one, but...... Today I was reading the insatallation manual.[it was still sealed in the envelope]

I looked at one that was installed by others. Do you need to use the BPT X NPT adapters that come with it? The ones for the manifold where you connect DHW DHCW BS & BR ?

Also if it the combi that makes DHW and no storage tank do you need the relief valve that is supposed to be in the DHW pipe as close to the manifold as possible?

More than one is installed and there are a lot of spare parts if you know what I am saying. Should I bring this up , or is it OK?

It is the first Vitodens I have seen and I have not been to Warwick for some time so I really don't know. Thanks

    Vitodens Combi

    Bill,

Yes, you do need the BSP adapters to connect NPT piping to the piping manifold.

The PRV for the Domestic Hot Water should be installed as close to the heat exchanger as possible, and certainly before any valves.

As for the extra parts, there shouldn't be any.
