HW towel warmer timer control

I'm wotking on a project with 6 hot water towel warmers in the various bathrooms, Runtal or Myson units. The owner wants to be able to have them operate at certain times of the day to have the towels warm when they want them, there may be different schedules for different rooms. Space temp is controlled by radiant floors and some are all interior. I've found some nice timers for electric towel warmers but nothing for HW units.
Does anyone know of a controller for HW towel warmers? I could make something up with time clocks/valves, but I'm hoping there's already a product out there.
Thanks for your input.

How about
Monoflo tees, a zone valve, and a clock thermostat?Retired and loving it.0 -
I thought about
the zone valves & time clock, not the monoflo tees though, and will end up going that way if needed. There are other coils on the pump loop so I can't just stage the pump. Just wanted to find something user (ie. home owner) friendly that won't trigger service calls when they want to change schedules.0 -
Time & Temp
My one Myson towel warmer tells me that you need at least 130° water and a significant amount of time (3-4 hours) to produce a nice, warm, fluffy towel. And that's from fresh, dry state out of the closet. Significantly longer if you rehang the towel damp from use.
When loaded with towels I really couldn't find a space temp increase during the A/C season--I'm sure it's there but it's just not much. Mine is chrome (very low emissivity) so other finishes may well be different...
Sorry, but I don't know of any specific controls. Many are from the cool, damp United Kingdom where they are supplied with heat constantly--often I believe from a cookstove like an Aga.0 -
Timers
Paul, Depending on how you piped your towel heaters. what I did was ran my on high temp, of a seperate circulator. I put in a Tekmar 031 to short out tt terminals. I turn on the heater at the times I want Pretty simple application.0
