    How in the he#$

does ANY piece of equipment "blow" a regulator?

    Geeze!

Show me the "problem" installs. Let's decide if it was an equipment problem or installer error.

Love those hit and run posts.

    He probably

works for the competition "Winky Wink". HTP has not made any friends in the boiler industry, and some of them think its funny to bad mouth the other guys products. Childish, but true.

    problem Munchkins

If the instructions aren't followed, problems will arise. We created one on our first install due to the combined venting length being just shy of what's required. Never even considered there'd be a minimum!

We installed a few with a pumping away primary loop, but have since changed to factory required specs for return-mounted pumps. Feels like a sin(G), but the pressure switches see an increase instead of a decrease, which some say will cause a fault lockout - we haven't seen this happen.

What Regulator are you blowing? Why are you replacing gas valves? Cause. Have seen fan blade attachment issues but that point has been addressed.

    Yeah its you.

I wish I could be sarcastic like I have been known to be in the past, its just that such a pathetic post doesn't even get my creative juices flowing.

    Sincerely

    Problem Munckins

The gas valve on the Munchkin, with the exception of the T models, is a Honeywell, and has really been trouble free, so I have a hard time swallowing that two have failed. The few failures that I have seen were due to either "operator error" or excessive incoming gas pressure. If you are supplying over 14 in WC to the valve , it will damage the internal mechanism. More is not always better.

In any manufacturing enviornment issues can arise. We believe that the difference is made in how those situations are handled.
