B&G Isolation Flanges

Has anyone else seen these or used these yet? Just found them today on tbe B&G site. Look like a neat idea. Curious how they actually work out in the field?

Stocked them for a few months.....

and thing they are a tremendous value.

We have some tight-fisted contractors who only want the regulator IPS flanges and don't see the need for valves of any sort.

It's a new year, maybe we can get the HO to start requesting them on every job.

    Flanges

We have used both the B&G and Webstone iso-flanges and we like them both. It would be nice if B&G added sweat flanges. I may be mistaken but I believe they are only offered in a threaded version. -DF

    They do

Offer sweat flanges. Just saw it in the literature. Do those valves rotate in the flanges?

    Yes they rotate

and that is a very nice feature. Been trying to get my rep to send me one! The ones I saw displayed at ISH had plated flanges and bolts! Do they actually come shipped that way?

    Here's another benefit

For a few dollars more Webstone makes the flanges with a standard drain valve attached to the Iso Flanges. They cost about $3-$4 more but well worth it when you have to bleed the system. Well worth the money when bleeding your system.

    Thanks for the input Guys!

I like to spec materials/equipment that actually make sense! I hate doing things "just because that's the way we've always done it"! As both engineer and "tinkering" home owner, this is one product that truly makes sense and appears to really save time. I will definately use them on my next system.

    B&G FLANGE

Latest news we heard is that these valves were also
going to be made with a built in check valve.
just a little idea to compete with the grundfos pump with check

    Love 'em

The flange rotates, you dont need the second gasket, nice looking. It's about all we use anymore when the local outhouse has them in stock.
