under floor design ?

Have a job where we are considering alternate ways of getting more heat to 400sf space. Concrete floor over unheated garage, wondering how well radiant tubing w/panels on underside of 6" thick floor with sheeting and oak floor over it would work with r-19 insulation below tubing. Could not find concrete in wirsbo design manual with an underfloor application. Some radiator heat already present. load on room is appx. 15mbh total.

Any way
to retro fit from the top side?
That 6" slab heated radiantly from below would be a slow responding emitter.
Ramp up, and cool down time might not work well in that small area.
What type of heat is in the space now?
hot rod

reply to hot rod
Hot rod, no way for anything from above. Would run pretty much constant heat to slab so I think heat up/ cool down would not be as much the issue as is how good of heat transfer would we get. Thanks for the reply0
