ijust installed a t 87 digital thermostat in a home , since the owner has flooded the boiler and has been adding water every day . i was back but i didnt see any signs of leaks but the radiator vent are leaking could that have anything to do with adding water

if the radiator vents dont shut off against steam this would cause the homeowner to have to add water replace raditor vents. also there may be a hole in the boiler above the boilers water line this would also cause them to add water everyday. to check this slowly add water to the boiler and check to see if leaking you will start to see watyer on floor if leaking.

Sounds like the system is flooded with water above the vent lines in the radiators which will cause the vents to leak. Empty the system completely and re-fill to the correct waterline.0
