    Turf Conditioning

They call it "turf conditioning" at Gillette Stadium.

26 miles of PEX, six zones.

    Congrats to the Pats

It was a good hard fought game whose conclusion was never known until the last 2 minutes. The Pats held off a very goo Titan team. I wonder if there is any radiant heating benefit to the turf system in temps like yesterdays game. The Carolina, St Louis game was quite a roller coaster to watch. Great Football games.

    Shucks

I'm a Titan fan but hats off to the Pats -- very gritty game. On the other hand I am also a Ram's fan and couldn't believe that their coach Mike Martz went for the tie late in the game when he had a chance to win it -- very poor coaching decision!

    Not a pretty Win

But every game the Pats have played this year has not been pretty. They are a tough team who play hard and tough and never give up.

Super Bowl Two is on the way.

    Hats off also

to Mr. McNair. That is one of the guttiest games by a QB. You could feel his pain as he walked off, at the time out, before he threw that last pass.

Great game, excellent teams. Bring on the Colts/Chiefs.

    Gillete Stadium

I understood that the turf heating system warmed the roots rather than the surface. I also heard that the Pats resodded the field this past week.
Watching on TV you would never know thay were playing in those harsh conditions. Hats off to the engineers and installers. We'll probably never see another "Ice Bowl" like Packers-Giants in the sixties.
Congrats to all you 'north-right coasters'. Since the Tians are out I will be pulling for the Pats all the way.

    Pats fan...

but a very nice job by Tennessee. Could have gone either way. Best of luck for next season. Wish up well next week against the Colts (unless KC pulls it out - its end of the third now).

As for Gillette I can't think the heated field does anything at these temps, but in warmer weather its got to help the grass grow. Would be fun to see the boiler room.

Dan Holohan hosted a tour of Gillette Stadium a month or two ago. Did anyone here go? It would be interesting to see any pictures of their boiler room! I think the new Philadelphia Eagles stadium also has the in-field radiant heating.

    Colts Win!

    Great match-up: Colts v. Pats

Early prediction: Colts 24 Pats 21 (Sorry Scotty!)

Manning vs. Brady will be better than anything in the Super Bowl. But there will be no Peyton scoring on his first three possessions on the radiant field in Foxboro.

The Colts defense is too questionable. Look for the Pats defense to control and confuse the other co-MVP and come up with key play to win the game.

    Pats Win with Watts Radiant

How much better could it be. Sitting home last night in my Watts radiant heated home, watching America's Team The New England Patriots, put on one of grittiest performance ever seen, all this done while playing on a radiant heated turf. Maybe the Radiant Heat Industry has a new hero Tom Brady the real MVP.

It is a sad day in Wisconsin. Wish your teams the best of luck. But with the Pack out it will be hard to turn the TV on to watch the other games.

    PATS are Super!

The radiant field was looking sloppy, but the outcome super.

Now to the StrathAyr Turf of the Houston stadium.
