Baseboard in one pipe steam

I have a one pipe steam heat system. All of the rooms have
cast iron radiators except the kitchen which has cast iron baseboard. The whole house heats evenly and is comfortable except the kitchen. The kitchen is always cool. The baseboard gets hot but just isn't doing the job.
The kitchen is a 12x14 room with 2 windows and 1 exterior door. My heat loss calc tells me I need 6,800 btu/hr. I have a 6ft length of baseboard, the baseboard is 10" high.
I dont think it is enough but wanted some opinions. Also is the issue the baseboard in one pipe steam, I read it is not a wise mix.

Any thoughts?

Is it steel pipe and fin tube?

or copper tube? Is it graded such that the inlet is the lowest point along the length of the tube? Is the air vent working and large enough. The length of the BB is such that you should get about 6000 BTU's / hour. And yes BB replacing CI rads is a poor mix! Rads retain (capture)BTU's. BB has to have them (BTU's) right there to produce heat. It may be that the coasting of the rads in the rest of the house keeps it warmer than the BB can, there fore the kitchen is considerably cooler, for the time the T/S is satisfied, while the rads give up there stored BTU's.

I am going to go ahead and put in a free standing cast rad.
I really felt the cold here in NY this weekend. What is your opinon on the Burnham slenderized rad? How many BTU's do I need to do the job?
