MUNCHKIN BLOWER MOTORS

in THE MAIN WALL
HELLO, HAS ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE MUNCHKIN 140M AMD 199M BLOWER MOTORS FAILING? DOES ANYONE KNOW THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM? THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

    Not motor, but had a problem with air proving switch on 80M failing. :(

    The unit was installed Sept of this year and the blower quit (impeller broke off the shaft) last Saturday. I was told my new blower is an improved design over the one that failed.

    We have had 4 motors fail on us. Two have had the impellar break also. Thanks for the reply.

    True!

    The new blowers are much "beefier" around the shaft and should prove trouble free in that dept. Also have gone to a molex connector for the control connection, this replaces an edge connector. Moles is easier to work with on the blind side of the motor. HTP is working on continious improvements to an already good product.
