Brrrrrrrrr...... Oh Canada

I can pick up the distinct odor of fat back and molsens in the brisk air! Phone's ringing so much the dang receiver's almost about to melt(G). Chust between us, you fellas coulda kept some of this cold air up there. Pipes are bustin, boilers are konkin out and there's plenty of work to keep us working through the night.

Off to Philly for a commercial Lochinovar to replace a RayPak that did a melt-down today. Nothing like a boiler being on fire to motivate a landlord! C-ya - roadtrip! Let's see..... 95 miles one-way? That's at least a 75-minute run! But officer, I know Sheriff Murph personally.

    It was -34.6 Celcius here

on Monday, wind chill -46 Celcius, and we didn't even come close to breaking the record low for the day, which is -59 C wind chill in 1962. On days like that it doesn't really matter whether or not your boiler has modulating fire.

It'll make you feel good when you're cold (unless you are from the middle of NH).

    Oh, it's 25° F on Long Island now, 1/7/04 at 6 PM

Need a job in the south. We'll hit -40 something C tonight here in Montreal. And no real warm up tomorrow. Car tires take awhile to thaw out...they freeze...feels like a Flintstone car. Also the soles of your boots do not bend...its like you have a brick on the bottoms of them.
Never truned the truck off once today...started it in the morning and left it running. Ahhhhh...the Great White North!!!

    $$$$

Ya....but.....when it's cold, they run constantly.

It's when they start and stop, energize de-energize, pilot, pilot check...and fail, is where the money is!

    I am Canadian....too!
